born in Milwaukee Wisconsin, 1975 grew up in Oconto Falls, population 2400, an old paper mill town in the northern woods of Wisconsin moved back to Milwaukee 1993, left in 1995 for Portland OR, Albuquerque NM, NYC, Oakland, Redwing MN, Minneapolis MN, and all points in between. traveled across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and all of Europe, by foot, bike, freight train, passenger train, plane, bus, broken down vans, boats, panel trucks running on vegetable oil, and luck. worked as a deconstructionist, truck driver, furniture mover, telemarketer, housepainter, beet harvester, collective cafe cook, dishwasher, black and white custom photo printer, personnel caregiver, farmers market seller, delivery driver, produce warehouse worker, fence builder, mechanic, grocery stock clerk, construction laborer, demolition laborer, advertising designer, gas station attendent, espresso maker, hay bale thrower, window factory press operator, diaper factory worker, and hole digger.
