The Physics Research Odyssey

Is a small tour of the research conducted by Derek Nowak a Research Assistant Professor at Portland State University.  Research topics are focused primarily on nanometrology and the development of a microscope to obtain high resolution optical information from biological specimens that exceed the diffraction limit of visible to near-infrared light.  Long term goals are integrating the system into a high resolution Raman Microscope.
