Welcome.
My PhD candidacy in Mathematical Sciences at Portland State
University is under the primary supervision of Dr.
Steve Bleiler in the department of mathematics and statistics. Dr. Marek Perkowski
in the department of electrical and computer engineering is my allied area advisor. My research interests are: quantum game theory,
quantum algorithms, and hybrid and multi-valued quantum logic circuits.
Some publications of mine can be
found here.
Some fundamental papers on quantum game theory,
quantum logic synthesis, and quantum algorithms.
In the context of my PhD, I have made
some presentations
which may be instructive (or not). No harm in checking them
out.
I am a Maseeh Graduate Fellow at Portland State University for the academic year 2007-08.
I am also an adjunct instructor at the University of Portland for the Fall 2007 term.
Sufi wisdom is great source of inspiration, especially for an
inspiring mathematician. Although the ends of most Sufi intellectual and
spiritual endeavors has been the study of the "human
condition," the convoluted thought patterns invoked in these endeavors
certainly contain germs of mathematical thinking. At least, that is my opinion. Two Sufi stories
that invoke in me a sympathetic perception of reality are The Tale of the Sands and The Fruit of Heaven.
I became a TV star while developing a calculus course
for the Virtual University in
Pakistan.
